谷澤紗和子個展「Emotionally Sweet Mood-情緒本位な甘い気分-」

studio Jに於ける3月からの展覧会としまして、谷澤紗和子個展「Emotionally
Sweet Mood-情緒本位な甘い気分-」を開催致します。タイトルは、詩人の高村
光太郎によるエッセイ「智恵子の半生」の中で、高村智恵子の油彩画について語った
部分からの抜粋です。
 

谷澤は「妄想力の拡張」をテーマに、生と死、愛、痛み、などの広大な妄想/想像力が
解放されることを目指し、そのための装置として作品を創っており、VOCA展2022では佳作賞に選出されました。
　

今回の個展では、画家/紙絵作家の高村智恵子へのオマージュに加え、女性像をテーマ
にした新作の切り紙作品を発表します。時節柄、何かと不安定ではありますが

studio J Exhibition Notice

From March, studio J will be holding a solo exhibition entitled Emotionally Sweet Mood by artist Sawako Tanizawa. The title is taken from an excerpt from the poet Koutaro Takamura’s essay, Chieko no Hansei (Half a lifetime of Chieko), in which he writes about Chieko Takamura’s oil paintings.

Tanizawa’s work aims to unleash great ideas and the power of imagination surrounding life, death, love, and hurt, in an attempt to ‘expand imagination’—her work was selected for the honorable mention award in the VOCA (Vision of Contemporary Art) exhibition, 2022.

In addition to being an homage to the painter and paper artist Chieko Takamura, this exhibition will also feature newly created paper cutout art in the image of the female.

Although we are aware that we are in the midst of a socially unstable period of time, we look forward to your visit.
